- From third parties – payment confirmation data from Razorpay after a transaction.
- Phone OTP Verification – mobile number verification via phone.email OTP service.
3) How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information only for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your BAMCEF membership account.
- To verify your identity as required for membership in BAMCEF.
- To generate your Digital Membership ID Card.
- To process membership fees and donations securely via Razorpay.
- To send important notifications related to your membership status, renewal, or organizational updates.
- To provide administrative functions to authorized BAMCEF officials.
- To maintain records as per organizational requirements.
- To improve App performance using anonymized crash and usage data.
- To comply with legal obligations under applicable Indian law.
We do not use your data for advertising, behavioural tracking, or sell it to any third party for commercial purposes.
4) Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Razorpay (Payment Processor): To process your membership fee or donation. Razorpay’s own Privacy Policy governs how they handle your payment data.
- phone.email (OTP Service): Mobile number shared for OTP verification during registration.
- BAMCEF Authorized Officials: Our administrators may access your data for membership review, approval, and organizational communications.
- Legal Compliance: If required by court order, government authority, or applicable Indian law.
5) Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your BAMCEF membership account is active or as needed to provide you services. Upon account deletion or membership termination:
- Account and profile data will be deleted within 30 days of your request.
- Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations.
- Backup data may persist for up to 90 days before being fully purged.
6) Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement the following measures:
- Encrypted storage of sensitive documents on secure cloud servers.
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmission between the App and our servers.
- Access control – only authorized BAMCEF administrators can access membership data.
- Secure payment processing – card and bank data is handled entirely by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant). We never store payment instrument details.
Despite our efforts, no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and notify us immediately at helpbamcef@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized access.

All permissions are optional to the extent possible. Denying optional permissions may limit certain App features.
8) Children's Privacy
The BAMCEF App is intended exclusively for government employees and working adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us personal data, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us at helpbamcef@gmail.com.
9) Your Rights (Data Subject Rights)
As a user, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
